WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Participants from Africa and the world will live together, train daily in amazing open studios with inspiring and excellent teachers; exchange, discover dances, practices and cultures from one another within Ecole des Sables, a beautiful and secured dance centre.

Thomas Presto - Caribbean Dance based on Talawa Technique 

Vicki Igbokwe - Waackin 

Mamadou Baldé - Senegalese Dances 

Saky Tchebe - Ivorian Dances 

Patrick Acogny - Deconstructions of West African Traditional Dances (Masterclasses) 

Where: Ecole des Sables, Senegal 

When: 8-20 April 2019 (Easter Holiday)

Deadline for applications: Saturday 15 December 2018

Costs for participants: 860€/£760


Includes: 7 hours of dance a day, standard shared accommodation in the school bungalows, 3 full meals a day, transfer from and to Dakar Airport. Not included: Flight, visa (if needed), travel insurance, Goree Island trip (optional)
